Selena’s skills in Mobile Legends
Selena can switch freely between her two forms. Elven Form: Selena applies Abyssal Mark with her skills. The mark can stack up to several times. When Abyssal Trap hits an enemy, it immediately adds an Abyssal Mark. Abyssal Form: All damage will consume a stack of Abyssal Mark to deal extra Magic Damage.
Both forms offer unique skills and center around damage and crowd control. Learning when to switch is vital for your success using the hero.
Having two forms allows you to play the hero in several ways.
Elven Form first skill – Abyssal Trap
Selena summons an Abyssal Devil to lurk in a designated location. The Abyssal Devil will attach itself to any enemy that approaches the location and slow them. After a second, the Abyssal Devil deals Magic Damage to the enemy and other nearby enemies and slows them for a duration. The Abyssal Devil lasts up to a certain time. Several Abyssal Devils can exist at the same time. Each extra Abyssal Devil increases the final damage.
Combining these traps with Abyssal Arrow will increase the overall impact.
Abyssal Form first skill – Soul Eater
Selena strengthens her claws with the power of the Abyss, causing the next Basic Attack to deal extra Magic Damage while granting a Shield that absorbs damage.
Use this ability after landing your Abyssal Arrow and Abyssal Trap.
Elven Form second skill – Abyssal Arrow
Selena fires magic arrows in a designated direction, dealing Magic Damage to the first enemy hero hit and stunning the target. Stun duration and damage increase with the distance that the arrows travel. The arrow absorbs Abyssal Traps as it travels and hence will apply the effects of Abyssal Traps to the enemy target upon hit. If an enemy is stunned for a long duration, Selena’s Movement Speed will be increased.
Use this in combination with Abyssal Traps to maximize the crowd-control effects.
As a midlaner or a roamer, this is your bread-and-butter ability.
Landing this ability will open up many opportunities, but it may be a challenge. It is good practice to always cast this manually and anticipate enemy positions.
Whether you hit an enemy or not, fire your arrows in bushes to get vision over the area.
This is a two-way ability as it provides you with a boost in damage, as well as a shield.
Outside of damage, these traps provide vision which gives you a tremendous map advantage.
